Peace and Civil Rights Organizations Join “Life Against War” Movement

As war, violence, and militarization continue to erode the fabric of societies, a broad coalition of peace, anti-war, and civil rights organizations in Iran has come together to amplify a simple but powerful message:
“Life for All – War for No One.”

Launched on July 12 (Tir 22) with support from more than 70 civil society groups, this grassroots initiative has rapidly grown to include over ۱۰۱ organizations, including unions, teachers’ networks, feminist groups — and now, a strong alliance of peace advocates and civil rights defenders.

These organizations believe that promoting life, dignity, and justice requires a firm rejection of war in all its forms. Among the signatories are:

  • Sarbaz e Solh (The Soldier for Peace)
  • Mothers for Peace
  • Peace and Health Group – Scientific Peace Association
  • Foundation for Peace and Kindness Development
  • Defenders of Citizens’ Rights – Lawyers Collective
  • Association for the Defense of Prisoners
  • The Inner Peace House
  • Stop Honor Killings Initiative
  • Peace and Health Collective
  • Iran-Thailand Friendship Association

Together, these organizations represent a growing social conscience — one that challenges the normalization of war and calls for deep, systemic commitments to peace, justice, and human rights.

From July 18 to 20 (Tir 28 to 30), the movement is calling on all individuals, communities, and civil groups to participate by raising their voices and taking action — in any form and from any place — to transform “Life for All – War for No One” into a shared outcry and a collective vision for change.

Because peace is not a luxury — it is the foundation of every right we seek to protect.
